Pixie’s ultimate skincare smoothie

What do you add to your morning smoothie?  Keeping hydrated is so essential for healthy skin, and following a routine each day to hydrate from the inside and outside is important.

There’s lots of great smoothie ingredients that could benefit your skin. For Nutritionist Pixie, it’s a combination of vitamin-packed fruits like banana and berries, and nuts and seeds for an omega-3 boost.

Try making Pixie’s breakfast skincare smoothie, followed by an all over body moisturise after your morning shower.

·       1 banana
·       80g berries
·       1 tbsp almond butter
·       1 tbsp oats
·       1 tsp flaxseed

Blend it all up!

"I’m actually making one of my absolute favourite breakfasts. I love having a smoothie first ting in the morning because I find it really hydrating. First thing banana, really good source of potassium, lot’s of berries and then I like to put in some nut butter, then some oats, some flaxseeds for omega 3 and finally just a little splash of water to make sure it will really blend properly. That is really nice and thick!" Pixie
